My husband, Chris Samuels, and I, are the owners and developers of this 4 lot development at Hebgen Lake.  We are not developers by trade, but have put our hearts and souls into developing this 22 acre property into a 4 lot development at Hebgen Lake in SW Montana.  We originally received approval to develop the property into 7 lots, but decided not to pursue a subdivision that large.  We are extremely proud of this unique, 4 lot development.  It has been very important to us to protect the environment in every possible way, with our close proximity to the lake, and to maximize the size and beauty and views for each lot.

We are originally from North Carolina, but we moved here from Nashville, TN in July 2007.  We love to snow ski, hike, fish, boat, water ski, bike, snowmobile, and spend time with our 3 children.  We began coming to Southwest Montana as second home owners when we purchased a second home in Big Sky in 2003.   We enjoy going back to NC to visit, of course, but we absolutely love the serenity and natural beauty of Montana.  There is no place more beautiful, in my opinion.

Being at Hebgen Lake is like stepping back in time.  When we came out to Big Sky several years ago and rented a boat on Hebgen Lake, we were in love.  Having grown up on the water in NC, I could not believe how crystal clear the water was and how completely private the lake was.  It is so undeveloped and will always be that way, since 90% of the land around the lake is either owned by the National Forest Service or has been placed in conservation.  The fishing is the best dry fly fishing in Montana and some will argue, North America.  Many have been fortunate enough to catch trout over 24” long in Hebgen Lake.  There are no bugs and no humidity here in SW Montana, which is another reason that life here is so fantastic, especially coming from North Carolina.

One of the things about Hebgen Lake that caught our attentioin was that its location is unbeatable, 10 minutes from Yellowstone National Park and 45 minutes from Big Sky Ski Resort and right in the heart of blue ribbon trout water and big game hunting country.  The peacefulness and beauty of this lake are a rare find.   It is truly a well kept secret.  There are no other lots of this size and beauty that exist this close to the lake.

The Landing at Hebgen Lake has final plat, Lot 1 has been sold, and all other lots are ready to be sold.  Please let us know if you have any questions about our 4 lot development or if you decide that you would like to come out to take a look at the property.  We manage luxury vacation properties in Big Sky, Montana and would love to help with your lodging.  This breathtaking property would be worth the trip.

It is true what they say about Montana ..... "The Last Best Place!"  This lake property takes you away from everything, before life was busy and full of modern day chaos.  The eagles, osprey and trout are abundant, but the pace of life is the escape from reality that we are all looking for in this fast paced world we live in.

We look forward to hearing from you and having an opportunity to share in our Montana secret.....

      Sincerely,

      Chris and Acra Samuels
